Maruti is currently offering discounts of upto Rs. 40,000 on its Zen and Wagon-R models that are under pressure from rival Hyundai. Baleno is being offered at a massive discount of Rs. 80,000 to boost sales.

Hyundai is offering discounts of Rs. 15,000 on its Getz hatchback (either free insurance or an MP3 player) to counter competition from the hot-selling Maruti Swift. This figure could swell to Rs. 30,000 if you finance your buy.
