Women & Automobiles!
Believe it or not, research shows women buy more automobiles than men and have more influence over the kind of vehicle that will be purchased for a family. That research has led automakers to re-think their design process. In fact, the Pontiac G6 was designed by a team made up entirely of women. Cockpit of the Future
The latest in car design and exteriors gained rave reviews at recent auto shows over the past few weeks, but what about car interiors? The latest in cockpit design allows car owners to configure their car exactly as they like it – right from the factory.
New modular cockpit technology gives more flexibility in the design and features available in a car. For instance, the driver can choose to put touch commands on the steering wheel or the heads-up display. Car owners can even choose where to put multimedia devices like navigation systems, radios and televisions.
If you want a new configuration - even years after you own the car - the modular design allows the dealer to reconfigure the components to give the car a new look and feel anytime you like. The design also uses less space for components and weighs less than other designs - freeing up more space for leg room and giving better gas mileage.
